The International Institute of Cosmetology would like to congratulate Katelyn Crowe as the October student of the month for our Plainville campus!
Asst Director of Education, Angela Urciuoli, describes Katelyn as highly motivated with a wonderful attitude. Katelyn demonstrated a great progression in classes, and we congratulate Katelyn on graduating!
Katelyn decided to pursue cosmetology as a challenge, “I had no idea what direction my life was taking me, but I found hair and I started to see a path I wanted to take. Every day was hard, but that made everything more worth it. Because of cosmetology school, I have grown as a person and a hairdresser! I am so excited to see where it takes me.”
While at IIC, Katelyn’s favorite thing to work on was braiding, and Katelyn is currently working at Clip and Color in Berlin CT behind the chair! Congrats Katelyn!
Congratulations to Jeremy Gerard for being named the student of the month for our Wethersfield campus this October! Jeremy is a very driven student at the International Institute of Cosmetology, who is always ready for a challenge.
When reflecting on the decision to come to IIC Jeremy says, “I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do right out of Highschool, but I knew I wanted to do something related to art and creating,” and Jeremy certainly found that at IIC.
Jeremy enjoys all aspects of school, but particularly likes haircutting, and after graduation plans to shadow or assist in a salon! Keep up the great work Jeremy!
