Difference between IIC and other Cosmetology Schools:
One of the greatest things that sets IIC apart from all other cosmetology schools are the members of our education team. Dedicated beauty professionals and practitioners who strive to motivate students, as well as encourage each other.
What better person to focus on than Ms. Kesha, the Lead Educator at IIC-Plainville. Ms. Kesha has both taught and been inspired by, students and educators alike for more than ten years at IIC. As the Phase One educator, Ms. Kesha sees students on their first day of school, and watches them grow as hair stylists until they are prepared to take clients upon entering Phase Two.
Student’s Cosmetology Journey:
Cosmetology Phase One students can often feel overwhelmed with all of the complexities of becoming a professional hair stylist, or even have a hard time seeing the end of their school journey as too distant on the horizon. It takes an educator such as Ms. Kesha who understands how to balance the need to (1) Demonstrate styles and techniques for students, with (2) Coaching the students to accepting challenges on their own. Ms. Kesha often cites the crucial team approach to the IIC experience that students and educators share, and as the Lead Educator she loves to share her experience and passion with new hairdressing educators.
