Face Studies™ is a one-day design course for both classic and volume artists. Advanced design and customization are the foundation of the Face Studies™ program. We’ll deep dive into a comprehensive curriculum, covering structural symmetry, facial framing, the art of illusion, mixing curls, and corrective design. Using innovative evaluation methods, you’ll learn how to tailor your application for each client, enhancing unique features and individual beauty. This course will revolutionize your approach to customization, challenging you to think creatively and design with intention.
By signing up for this course, you agree to the following terms:
Terms and conditions: A non-refundable Reservation Fee is required to secure your seat in class. This amount will be applied to the total payment and is non-refundable under any circumstance. Full payment is due 14 days before a scheduled class. You’ll receive a final payment reminder approximately 21 days before the payment due date.
If you’re unable to attend, your Reservation Fee can be transferred (once) to another class within the 2023 calendar year or to an individual deemed qualified. Cancelations with less than 14 days notice will be subject to full payment. Policies are non-negotiable.

AIRBRUSH MAKEUP CLASS
6 Hour Class – $795 (includes airbrush kit)

This class will help artists master their airbrush equipment and learn basic airbrush application and techniques. A professional TEMPTU airbrush kit is included. You will receive a certificate upon completion.
It is recommended that students bring lipstick and eye liner to complete a look.

Brow lamination is a semi-permanent treatment for your eyebrows; similar to the well-known lash lift treatment. It is a way of enhancing the brow one already has by manipulating the hairs with chemicals. This 1 day Brow lamination workshop is designed for those looking to include this service in their salon/spa offerings. Students receive a certificate from International Institute of Cosmetology, upon completion and a Lamination kit is included.

MODEL DISCLOSURE:
Models cannot have any of the following
•eczema, rosacea, or dermatitis
•recent Botox in the region of the eye
•resurfacing treatments in the last 72 hrs. (ex: microdermabrasion, chemical pills, etc.)
• On any acne medications such as retin-a, retinol, Accutane, Salicylic Acids, or Alpha Hydroxy Acid

A lash lift is semi-permanent procedure that gives you the appearance of fuller, thicker eyelashes . The natural lashes are boosted from the root, giving them a lifted, lengthened appearance. MICROLINK EXTENSIONS WORKSHOP
6 Hour Class – $1195 (includes microlink kit, hair bundle & practice mannequin)

Hands on Microlink class hosted by Chanice. In this class you will learn the single and double weft installation ,maintenance, and how to remove micro links correctly without causing damage to your client’s hair. You will also go over branding and mindset of a successful clientele.

ABOUT THE EDUCATORS
Jessica Alnaqeeb-Gonzalez
Licensed Esthetician and Eyelash Technician
Jessica Gonzalez, a multi-certified lash master since 2006; started her career with Novalash, Inc. the first pioneers in the lash industry in America prior to becoming the world recognized leader in products and training. Invited in 2006 to be Novalash’s Connecticut and Rhode Island lash educator. Her formal training was under Sophia Navarro in classic lash and volume lash extension, after 9 exciting years of educating she pivoted to focus on her business to master the art of mega volume and styling. With so many great lash products in the market, Jessica wanted to focus on training students in the areas most important in the lashing industry and the art of application. In 2018, Jessica partnered with International Institute Of Cosmetology in Connecticut curating the eyelash extensive course curriculum for the school.
In 2012 She opened up her brick and mortar, Lash Esthetica, in the thriving Park Road neighborhood in West Hartford, CT . A Latina female owned business, empowering woman’s confidence while providing sophisticated treatments. Aside from her passion as a master lash educator she loves working on skin!
Yatzabel Anderson
Makeup Educator
Yatzabel is an International Institute of Cosmetology Makeup Academy Alumni. Currently she educates at the Makeup Academy instructing Airbrush Makeup and SFX Makeup.
She has loved doing makeup as long as she can remember. She has a background in art and design and continues to challenge herself by taking on colorful and creative projects.
Yatzabel has been part of the makeup industry for over 6 years and has taken on many different roles. She has worked with retail brands and bridal salons and enjoys bringing her love and knowledge of makeup to students.
Mathena Rossa-Gahr
Makeup Educator
Mathena is a Makeup Academy Alumni and is currently teaching Airbrush Makeup and SFX Makeup. Since the age of 12 she would watch countless hours of makeup tutorials and practice new techniques.
Combining her self-taught YouTube knowledge and hours of practice, she grew to getting friends ready for rehearsals and performances. She became the official hair and makeup coordinator for the Windsor Locks high school musical productions. Since her training at International Institute of Cosmetology, she fell in love with more skills and became interested in teaching future makeup lovers. Her specialties include airbrush makeup, special effects and bridal glam. Mathena also works at Gugliottis Salon doing bridal and event makeup.
Chanice Haughton
Microlink Educator
Chanice has been in the hair industry for over 10 years. After graduating from cosmetology school, she worked in many salons learning and perfecting her craft. Eventually she becoming a salon owner herself. She fell in love with the idea of educating clients on their natural hair which has led to her current career. “I noticed school and most salons I worked in didn’t focus enough of natural/curly hair, so I am extremely happy to be able to educate students to feel comfortable doing all types of hair.” “She believed she could so she did “
