✨What made you decide cosmetology & go to IIC?
I always had an interest in hair but never got around to enrolling until after my daughter was born and I wanted her to see me fulfilling my dreams.
✨My Ah Hah moments in school were (Times you realized this is what you should be doing)?
Ah-hah moments happen every day- in formulas, cuts, the science behind the magic. It’s incredible!
✨Where do you see yourself when you finish school?
After I finish school, I want to hone in on my craft and perfect the parts I love. In a salon where I can continue learning and soak it all in every day.
✨What advice would you give someone looking into Cosmetology school?
I would tell anyone looking into cosmetology school to just go for it. It’s hard work but nothing worth having comes easily.

✨What made you decide cosmetology & go to IIC?
Ever since I was a little girl I loved doing my sister’s hair and enjoyed doing makeup on family members! After high school I proceeded to go to college for a criminal justice major and realized that that is not what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I was very passionate about the beauty industry at a young age and watching my older sister become a talented stylist made me realize how I could become the same and even better!
✨My Ah Hah moments in school were (times you realized this is what you should be doing)?Where do you see yourself when you finish school?
One of my “Ah Hah” moments were when he had to work on updos and at the beginning of phase one they weren’t really my favorite but towards phase 3 & 4 I realized how much I enjoyed doing updos and how creative I can be!
✨Where do you see yourself when you finish school?
When I finish school I see myself working at a salon and build my clientele and with the time have my own suite, however my end goal is to one day open up my own salon!
✨What advice would you give someone looking into Cosmetology school?
An advice I would give someone looking to cosmetology school is always do your best, don’t ever compare yourself or your work with others, you are unique in your own way! Don’t give up and give it your all!
