Nail Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of nail care and beauty treatments, providing exceptional service to clients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and additional beauty treatments.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
• Apply knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting the perfect shades for their nails.
• Upsell additional services such as body waxing, eyelash extensions, and hair threading to enhance client experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in accordance with health regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and preferences during appointments.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments to offer innovative services.
• Conduct skin analysis for appropriate nail care and recommend products for home use.
• Assist with retail sales by utilizing retail math skills to manage inventory effectively.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar role within the beauty industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with various nail techniques and treatments including dermabrasion and esthetic laser treatment is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A valid cosmetology license or certification is required.
