Our cosmetology program takes you in a natural progression and effective transition through all aspects of cosmetology.Our curriculum was developed by an in-house team of hairstylists and educators with over 100 years of experience and is recognized by the State of Connecticut. All of our faculty are CEA (Cosmetology Educators of America) certified instructors under the supervision of the Director of Education.The State of Connecticut requires that Cosmetology students go through a 1500 hours Cosmetology course to acquire a Cosmetology license in the State of Connecticut. Foundations of MakeupThis course is perfect for everyone; whether you are a beginner or a makeup artist that is looking to refine their skills. We will teach you to use the right tools and how to put the right color schemes together to ensure that the overall look will come our picture perfect! Enjoy an action-packed course with guest speakers and an educator with over 15 years experience who will take the time to answer all your questions about the industry and teach you all of the tips of the trade.This five week course is designed with the aspiring makeup artist in mind to bring out your makeup talent. The course focuses on the fundamentals, tools and career building skills necessary to be a successful professional in the industry. Each class will focus on a different look, giving students the skills to master the techniques of basic makeup application, bridal, formal and trend makeup design. Students will learn everything from evening looks to photo shoots to celebrity-type looks while practicing hands on with different face shapes.
