Martin became a licensed hairstylist at age 16. He has accomplished so much in his short time being a stylist. He has won three National Championships, competed in many International competitions, participated in three World Championships, and is a 2nd place World Champion. He has instructed many classes nationally and has taken part in many hair shows Nationally and Internationally. Martin is an NCA competitor, educator, and designer.

World renown stylist bringing over 35 years international experience to the class room. Salon owner for over thirty five years, OMC Americas President, NCA of CT past president. Mastered unique style of barbering to contemporary styles. World competitor and judge, holds international classes. A true asset to the school. You can definitely learn a lot from this man.
Assistant Director, Cristina Gugliotti
Cristina is the wonderful mother of four boys including Martin Gugliotti(Dean of Students), Leonardo Gugliotti (Artistic Director) and Damian Gugliotti (Financial Officer), loving wife of Carmelo Gugliotti (School Director). Her one on one interaction with students and staff helps her keep her finger on the pulse of the school. Always seeking to motivate and enthuse students she has and continues to come up with exciting events for students to partake in, such as; Dress Down Days to benefit a variety of organizations and people in need, Festive Days like Halloween and valentine's day. She helps coordinate trips to Hair shows and other field related events. Her mothering nature truly shines down on the student body. Cristina is well rounded in education, she was a teacher in her home country of Argentina for many years before moving with her family to the USA.
Artistic Director, Leonardo Gugliotti
Carmelo's son, became licensed when he was just 16 years old like his brother Martin, Leonardo has been around the industry for all of his life. Competitor, Instructor, Educator and Designer. Leonardo has accomplished a great deal in his age. He has been holding educational seminars for many years both nationally and internationally. Has completed his masters in business and is now looking to implement his knowledge in teaching and of the salon into the classroom.
Financial Officer, Damian Gugliotti
Carmelo’s son, has always been a behind the scene’s part of IIC. He was born in Argentina and moved to America when he was three, which has made him fluent in Spanish as well as English. Damian graduated Cum Laude with a Finance degree from the University of Connecticut. Now, he uses this knowledge learned in college to head our student loan programs and all school finances.
Director of Public Relations, Teena Gugliotti
Teena started out working in the makeup industry for Philosophy Cosmetics, as well as for Laura Mercier, as a traveling makeup artist throughout the Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York areas. She then went on to get her cosmetology license at The International Institute of Cosmetology. Upon becoming a licensed hairdresser, she went to work for The Gugliotti’s and has since been with them for about six years. During that time she accumulated over ten years experience with makeup allowing her to combine the two professions as she began teaching Hair Extension and Makeup classes at The International Institute. Teena’s latest endeavor is becoming the Director of Public Relations. “My greatest joy is showing someone how successful you can be in this industry.”

Cosmetology Educator of America (CEA) certified educator, well rounded in the Milady and Pivot Point curriculums. Advanced training by Framesi, Wella, ISO as well as major hair shows. Marie motivates and excites students into developing their practical and creative skills in Cosmetology.
Cosmetology Educator, Joanne Palazzo
Ms. Joanne, a cosmetologist of thirty years and salon owner for thirteen years, joins us as an instructor of cosmetology and a Pivot Point participant. She has attended several advanced courses in hair cutting and coloring, by means of John and Suzanne Chadwick, Paul Mitchell, and Redkin, and is still furthering her education for teaching certification. She is enthusiastic, passionate and encourages students to meet their goals.
Cosmetology Educator, Angela Urciuoli
Ms. Angela has been a cosmetologist for over 10 years. She is very passionate about hair coloring.She has attended many advanced classes in coloring and cutting with Wella, Paul Mitchell, Graham Webb, and Redken.She has achieved a premier level of knowledge in Chemistry and Science combined with Art and Fashion from the Hair Color Academy. Ms. Angela’s enthusiasm and dedication helps to motivate every student here at IIC.
Aesthetics Educator, Angela Augeri
Angela Augeri has been in the aesthetics industry for the last six years. She is a past International Institute of Cosmetology graduate who has continued to further her education by becoming a member of the coveted IDI (International Dermal Institute) Professional Institute of Aesthetics.
Angela has worked in both salon and day spa environments, but has found it most rewarding to educate students about this industry.

Cosmetology Educator, Ariana Texidor
Ms. Ariana is an alumni of The International Institute of Cosmetology and graduated in 2004. She has worked as a hairdresser at Gugliotti’s Hair Fashion for 2 years while obtaining her associates from Manchester Community College in Early Childhood Education. She continually seeks classes to sharpen her skills and has done so on the following: ISO, Mastering the Palette Framesi Master Colorist, Men’s Cutting Class, Long Hairdressing Demonstration, Razor Cutting, Wella Color Certification. She has very straight forward, hands on method of teaching which helps students grasp concepts easily.
